Raven is one of the youngest readers in the psychic Realm, yet possesses the proverbial old soul. She is a true Aquarian child blessed with many practical as well as supernatural skills. In fact, her natural disposition to be humane, sympathetic, original and refined while reading clients in the Realm comes from an ascendant in the actual sign of Aquarius.
She is also blessed with a strong earthy Sun in Virgo. This means you may never fear a hasty or inconsiderate remark from this grounded channeller whose nickname as a child was "nature girl". I asked Raven, who is in essence a young girl, with a very old soul, a bit about her practice:
Samantha: When was the very first time you thought you might be the least bit psychic?
Raven: I never really thought about that. I guess when your mom does so much magic (her mom is a world famous astrologer and medium) that you just assume you can do it too. I picked up a tarot deck about ten years ago and read them. I have being doing that for about ten years now.
Samantha: When was the first time that you knew you were accurate?
Raven: I think that would be about my tenth read. A friend of mine was going to try and ask her parents about a concert I told her they would say yes without a fight. She laughed at me and told me I didn't know her parents at all. Then they said yes.
Samantha: Tell me a little bit about your art.
Raven: Hmmm of Art? I would say it is like life. You have to inject a little humor into it. I like to poke fun at life with my drawings and make fun of it. My art style is art nouveaux. My art style is not that serious. Same with my readings, I do not want to be a doom bringer.
Samantha: What kind of deck do you like to use when reading clients in the room?
Raven: I use the Palladini Tarot. The art is simple and nice and it is easy to use. I also have an unusual oriental deck that I sometimes use.
Samantha: Do you have any simple ritual that you would like to share for people who are in trouble romantically?
Raven: I would probably suggest that they take a long bath. I would pour rose petals or bubble bath mix that smells of roses and light a candle. I would then tell the client to think of the one you love, of the idea of love. I believe that when the tub is unplugged and the water drains away the negative obstacles and impurities making trouble for you are also washed away. Light is then sent attract someone to you or your loved one.
Samantha: What would you say to a client who is expecting someone to call and the call doesn't seem to be coming and there seems to be no good explanation for it.
Raven: I would say be patient, maybe something is wrong. If you've waited longer then try to call them and if still nothing them just continue with your life and try not to think about it.
Samantha: Why did you choose Raven as your psychic name?
Raven: I work mostly at night I feel darker and more magical than I do during the day so I wanted to pick a name that would show a darkness in me, I ended up with Raven because it is my spiritual animal and I love them.
Whether Raven realizes it or not, in many cultures ravens are seen as the messengers of spirit, so she could not have chosen a more appropriate handle!
