AURAS AND THE INNER REALITY
By: RIMA ARORA
Similar to the magnetic current of the Earth, the human body also has a magnetic field, with polarity existing between the soles of the feet and the top of the head. In fact, everyone requires the essential energies of the Earth’s currents and electronic fields. Personal magnets surround the body as well in the form of the variably colored halo – the Aura.
The Aura is an invisible suit of colors that each of us wears. The colors remain unseen only by those who refuse to look for the higher consciousness of mankind. But the Aura is there, and is a permanent ‘other self’. It surrounds the physical body as a source of heat conservation and protection that decreases and increases as the environment changes.
An aural structure is the atmosphere emanating from the individual. It is a person’s astral body, composed of three separate layers – an enteric body, a soul body and a spirit body – all of which are created from ascending vibratory rates. The outermost layer of the aural being is the soul or spiritual side, and it represents the higher state of being. This is a part of a person that is the closest to the Absolute Eternal being, and is represented by a light halo of the spirit- called the Aura.
When a person is in distress such as ill, cold fearful or anxious – the six fold colors of his Aura contract close to his body and hardly glow at all. The aura of wellness shines bright and clears while the aura of illness appears turgid or dark brown. A body that is overworked, fatigued, or drained of energy seems sadly gray and inert. The natural color of the Aura surrounding a body structure is usually whitish gray.
The natural color of the Aura surrounding a body structure is usually whitish gray. The Aura of a happy and healthy fully evolved adult person is divided into six vivid colors. Closest to the body is the neutral tone of white; next comes glowing red, followed by bright yellow, green and blue. Violet or indigo is the outermost layer.
Thus, Aura presents the appearance of a luminous cloud of constantly shifting colors, certain colors, however, being predominant in each person. These colors originate from certain mental states of the person whom the Aura surrounds.
All Auric colors indicate different meanings:
BLACK indicates hatred, malice, revenge and similar feelings;
BROWN, of a reddish tinge, represents avarice and greed;
GRAY, a bright shade indicates selfishness, corpse shade means fear and terror, and dark shade represents depression and melancholy;
GREEN, of a dirty shade indicates jealousy and anger, slate colored shade gives low deceit, and a bright shade gives tolerance to opinions and beliefs of others;
RED, a dull shade is sensuality and animal passions, bright shades indicate anger;
CRIMSON, represents love, varying in shade according to the character of the person;
ORANGE, of a bright shade represents pride and ambition;
YELLOW, in its various shades, represents pride and ambition;
DARK BLUE, represents thought, emotion and feeling.
LIGHT BLUE, represents spirituality;
WHITE, represents something connected to the spiritually illumined.
YOGI DESCRIPTION
The Aura emanating from a person has been described by Yogi Ramachakra in his book “Fourteen Lessons In Yogi Philosophy” as one or more of the seven principles of man. And he lists these principles as:
1) the physical body,
2) the astral body,
3) the Prana or vital force,
4) the instinctive mind,
5) the intellect,
6) the spiritual mind, and
7) the spirit.
And each principle radiates energy which, combining, constitutes what is known as the human Aura. The grossest form of the human Aura is that emancipating from the physical body, also known as the health Aura, as it is a sure indication of the physical health of the person from whose body it radiates.
The physical Aura is practically colorless (or possibly almost a blush – white, resembling the color of clear water), but possessing a peculiar feature not possessed by the other manifestations of Aura.
The Aura emanating from the second principle, or astral body, is of a vapour like appearance and color and it becomes visible to one to whom an astral form materializes. It is difficult to distinguish when it is intermingled with the other forms of aura, but when the astral body is seen apart from the physical body its aura may be perceived, particularly if the observer is not open to the vibrations from the principles sending forth Auras of various color.
The Aura from the third principle or the Prana or the vital force is something like a electric light or spark. This pranic Aura is sometimes drawn away from a healthy strong person by a weak person who is lacking in vitality and who draws away from the strong one that which is needed by the weak one.
And the Aura emanating from the instinctive mind consists of the heavier and duller shades. When the mind is swept by a strong passion, feeling or emotion, the entire Aura seems to be colored by the particular shade or shades representing it. For instance a violent fit of anger causes the whole aura to show bright red flashes upon a black blackboard, almost eclipsing the other colors. A strong wave of love sweeping over the mind will cause the entire Aura to take on its color while the feeling lasts.
The man who has the intellect well developed shows an aura flooded with the beautiful golden yellow betokening intellectuality. This color in such cases is particularly apparent in the upper part of the Aura surrounding the head and shoulders of the man, the more animal colors sinking to the lower part of the Aura.
The Aura emanating from the spiritual mind bears the color of the true primary yellow, which is invisible to ordinary sight and which cannot be produced artificially by man. It centers on the head of the spiritually illumined, and at times produces a peculiar glow which can even be seen by undeveloped people. This is particularly true when the spiritually developed person is engaged in earnest discourse or teaching, at which times his countenance seems fairly to glow and to possess a luminosity of a peculiar kind.
Of the Aura of the seventh principle, spirit, it consists of a pure white light, something unknown to science. The sight of this wonderful effulgence is reserved for beings far higher in the scale than we are, but who were once mortals like unto us, and like whom we shall in due time be.
SPHERES OF REALITY
We can finally conclude that, shaped in the third dimensional sphere of reality, the Aura is divided into three parts: the head, the body and the organs of mobility (the lower limbs or, if a person walks on his hands, the upper limbs).
Each Aural representation can act separately and have different colors. When the individual is in homeostasis, his Aura is expanded and vibrant with color. When he is in distress – such as ill, traumatized, cold, fearful or anxious – the six fold colors of his Aura contract close to his body and hardly glows at all. The Auras of wellness shines bright and clear while the Aura of illness appears turgid or dark brown. A body that is overworked, fatigued or drained of energy seems sadly gray and inert.
The color comes from the light within you that arises from a universal radiance fueled by your diet, the positive image you project to others, the amount of rest you get, exercise that unstresses your physiology, and other components of a holistic lifestyle.
